Our course will enable you to draw up a development brief for a site. You will learn about potential challenges and key risks for your risk map by examining case studies. It is a great follow up course to initial site assessment and does not require any previous knowledge.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course participants will be able to:

  • Plan a programme of further investigations based on the initial site analysis
  • Identify the types of specialist resources required
  • Appreciate how to structure a risk map and its impacts
  • Draft a development brief for the proposed site
  • Reflect on current feasibility practice in your team and propose improvements

Who is the training for?

This one-day course is aimed at junior staff, those who are new to development or are transferring from another discipline.
